Recently noticed my cranks were clicking on 2020 Optic C2 (carbon), and further inspection revealed a loose BB between outer bearing race and BB shell on non-drive side

After taking measurements/ bearing race OD is 41mm, but BB shell ID is 41.4mm–.4mm play is obviously far out of spec for a press fit spec:

The shop where I bought the bike is willing to look at it, and I suspect it's a warranty issue. I wanted to post this as an informational thread in case others encounter the same problem. The SRAM DUB pressfit BB's are poor quality IMO, and not robust enough to handle the load and sealing required to last for a decent service life.
Wonder if the the BB frame part was the source of the problem as from what I can see online GXP BB's are generally reliable?
I just sold a bike with a Sram GXP BB, pulled the cranks off to regrease everything for the first time after 3 years of regular hard use and was surprised to find it as tight and smooth as new.

The bearings in my BB were stiff and done after one year and ~1,900 km's. I'm not sure how it failed but the BB shell bushing that is part of the frame was excessively worn.

Norco did warranty the front triangle, and happened to have a lime green XL carbon frame in their warehouse. I think I should consider myself fortunate. This can't be widespread, at least I haven't seen it reported on Norco frames. But would be interested in others have had the same experience.
