E-tuned Fox 38 on a non e-mtb?

Heya,
I bought a lightly used 2021 Fox 38 Performance Elite for a project, but the seller omitted the fact that it was the e-tuned version of the fork.
Does anyone have experience or insight into running these forks on normal bikes?
From what i've found so far the e-mtb 38 doesnt weigh any more than the other 38s, but only has a different compression tune? Does anyone have insight to if the tunes are vastly different or if there is a significant overlap to a regular grip2 tune?
Anything i should worry about or keep in mind that i havent thought of or found out so far? It cost a fair bit, and im loath to be sat with a suboptimal product for my intended use.

probably stiffer valving. if you weigh 200+, this would be a better option. ive seen big guys running e bike forks for stiffness

That was my intuitive sense as well, but from the Loam Wolfs Fox 38 review and Fox Q/A, i found this:

Difference will be in the Damper Tune. The E-bike damper tunes will have a lighter compression. We found that a vast majority of E-bikes are sitting down more when riding because they are under power. This allows for a more comfortable ride at the top end of the stroke. The E-bike damper is optimized for e-bikes. You can run a standard damper on an e-bike but might find that your ride experience would be more enjoyable on a properly tuned damper.

It strikes me as odd if this is the only thing different. Surely the higher loads would warrant a stiffer tune?
Im around 200 lbs fully kitted, so on the cusp of "bigger guy" i guess. Its unlikely that i'd struggle to get enough compression damping out of one of these forks, yeah?

personally, i never use compression damping, mostly just pressure/coil weight. you will be fine unless you are a picky rider
