X-Fusion Manic Dropper malfunction after first ride

Purchased a brand new 2022 Marin Alpine Trail. Came with the X-fusion Manic 150mm dropper. I took it on it's maiden voyage today. Wet, mucky, but definitely nothing too wild. Halfway through the ride, the dropper gets stuck in the extended position. Won't go back down. Tried tightening the barrel adjusters to no real avail. Occasionally the dropper does go down reluctantly when I sit on it (maybe 5% of the time) and returns slowly. Pretty disappointed considering its the first ride and the dropper received pretty decent feedback on reviews. Any tips or idea?

Sounds like it might have something to do with the actuator.

Easy solution is to just take it back to the LBS and have them take a look. If you want it done faster just pull it out and make sure the cable is connected properly and there is enough tension in the cable to activate it when you press the lever.
