Fox Oil Volume Chart - Need to Confirm Oil/Fluid Fill Locations

Fox's Oil Volume chart gives me: 1) air chamber, 2) damper-side (RLC) oil bath, and 3) spring-side oil bath.

Everyone knows this...

My problem is I have read/seen many references (individuals and bike service firms) for the oil change in my fork (2008 F100 w/RLC damper) and while subtle distinctions exist Fox was agreeing with these references.

See Row #8: https://www.ridefox.com/fox17/help.php?m=bike&id=530

Today, Fox told me fill the air chamber from the top/upright position of the fork and the damper-side bath & spring-side bath volumes from the small ports in the bottom of the 'lowers' with the fork/bike inverted.

Can anyone with a fork of this vintage attempt to remove this confusion? I'm ready to add the Float Fluid to the air chamber and the 10wt Red to the other two volumes.

You add a few ml of float fluid to the inside of the air spring.

You add fox red to the damper side through the top.. you do this so you can bleed the damper. Assuming it's an open bath which it should be.

You can either add 10-20ml (not sure correct amount) of fox gold 20w or a nice synthetic blend or fox red the the lowers of the air spring side through the foot nut hole on that side

Above is a video that shows how to do it right.
