I have a motorcross background and have been riding mtb parks for a couple of years.
I just got the itch to learn some basic trials stuff. I’m 50 and know I’ll never be “great”, just looking to have some fun while improving my bike handling skills.
I’m looking street trial bikes with 24” tires but I’m wondering how people feel about older used bikes vs newer - specifically I am looking at a 2013 Inspired FourPlay that was barely ridden vs a like new 2021 Inspired Flow. The guy with Flow is asking more but really they are both in the same price range…
I know the FourPlay is the gold standard but would a newer Flow be a better bike to start on vs a 9 year old FourPlay - I know geometry changes over time and components, and tires, age with time…
