Hi all I’m new to modern MTBs and I am struggling a bit.

I have a Green Orange Hardtail and I have upgraded the brakes to Hope tech4 Vs.

I got them with braided lines but my OCD dosnt like the silver. Nothing else on the bike is silver.

I have been looking at the Goodridge braided hoses but unsure what to do. You can buy a ready made 1 line kit for £40+ or buy the braided hose by the metre about £9 per M.

My question is, what other bits would I need with the price per line? Or would you recommend buying the ready made kits. It looks like the same 600series hoses?

Or are there other recommendations. I just looked at Goodridge as used them on motorbikes in the past.

I shortened the original front Hope line so confident with that.

Just buy the amount of hose you need, you've already got all the connectors. Why pay for something you don't need

Braided lines are so 2002. Just run regular hose, there's no difference in feel and the plastic lines don't chew up the frame and scratch paint nearly as much.
