Ripmo AF Suspension Choice

I am on a quest to find a Ripmo AF. Torn between finding a DVO set up or the Fox set up. I think DVO has more travel. Maybe Fox has better suspension feel? Part of me hates not having all travel possible but maybe this is the wrong perspective.

I haven’t bought a bike since 2005 so this is all new to me. Ride a lot of OR/WA single track with occasional trips to UT Chunk.

Thank you.

Jon

Travel is the same with Fox or DVO and the new models are shipping with Marzocchi suspension.
DVO has the upper hand for serviceability and tuning if you’re a DIY type. Depending on Fox model you can have extensive tuning options or very few. Services typically require specialty equipment.
I’ve had Fox and DVO and like them both. I wouldn’t pass up an opportunity to buy a bike with either.

Call me crazy, but I think the coil actually does have more travel

With the X2, no air, I cannot get the seat to touch the rear wheel (about 10mm clearance)
With the Jade x, I basically buzz my seat every ride.
