Possibly doing a trip to Nelson in early May for a week. Is it worth bringing my bike? Will the trail system be ready? Thanks in advance

Give Gerick Cycle a call. Depends on the year. Some of the Mountain Station trails may be snow free by early June.

Definitely worth bringing your bike! Lots of trails will be rideable. Likely all the North Shore trails and most of the Svoboda zone will be 100% by then.
