Is it just me or does it seem like Kicking Horse lacks putting their money back into the park and upgrading their trails and maintaining or building new ones for that matter? I still have fun there but from what I am hearing from a lot of locals, they are saying Revelstoke is insane and they are putting so much money into their park and trails compared to Kicking Horse. Even the local trail building is ramping up pretty hard it seems in Revy. I hope KHMR starts to do the same, considering for a lift pass or day pass it costs more than Revy.

I have never ridden Revy but plan on going there a few times this upcoming summer.

Well, KHMR is owned by a known cheapskate that puts just enough money into the place to keep it plodding along. No real big improvements to trails or anything else. Summer hours are short, and tickets aren't cheap.

Revy bike park is decent. Revys trails outside the park are also decent. Not enough trails to keep you busy for a long time though.

That's what I have been hearing. I hope he sells the resort to someone else. A lot of people are starting to drive past Golden, straight to Revelstoke from Alberta for skiing and biking so maybe they are losing money. Especially with their expensive rates now.
