I own an Evolve Alpha and have been very happy with mine. I think it is a solid bike that rides well. If there is nothing wrong with the bike you are considering AND you are comfortable having no warranty on a carbon frame, then buy it knowing what you are getting into. You may even get the bike for less because there is no warranty now. In the end it comes down to the condition and history of the bike.
