Anyone ever have a boxxer spring (or any fork spring) with flaking paint? Noticed a weird noise from the fork and opened up the spring side to find that the paint is flaking off in large amounts and contaminating my lower bath oil.
The coil is new- has two short rides on it. Is the fix just to strip all the paint?
