Renting a bike for a month in Sydney

I'll be in Sydney this July for a month and was interested in renting a bike.
Most of the places I've found do daily rentals, but nothing longer-term.

While I'd like a mountain bike I'm also open to just renting a commuter or road bike to cycle around (I know Sydney's not known for being super bike friendly but I can't imagine a month without biking).

Anyone have recommendations for either a) shops that rent bikes long-term or b) shops that sell second hand bikes? Sadly not much going on in the trailforks/pinkbike buysell pages.
