Hi, I have a 1986 hot pink Kuwahara Scamp. Serial number etc. It has been sitting at my parents, and I was wondering if anyone would know more about it? The tires need to be replaced, otherwise all original parts, stickers, etc. I think I would like to update and It would be fun to ride again. Someone offered me $500 although not sure i would want to sell. It would be helpful if someone had more information about it...Let me know if you do, thanks.

Based on my local market $500 is a very good offer for an old Kuwahara. Unless you love the bike and will ride it a lot I'd sell it. I'm trying to sell an old Kuwahara and can't get any interest at less than 1/2 that price.
