Hi there,

I'm thinking about using offset bushings and/or an 8.5x2.5x stroke shock to upsize the rear travel in my Ripmo V2S. Wondering if anyone has had success (or failure) doing this on the carbon frame.

And/or is anyone using a Cascade link on their V2S.

Jeff Kendall weed or whatever his name is made a video with the V2S and the cascade. There is frame contact at full extension. And you can only use the smaller link. The yoke doesn't fit.

I found that video. Not sure how I feel at this point about the cosmetic damage on my brand new frame. I was hoping to hear from others that they hadn't experienced it.... but coming up blank so far.

I was kind of hoping to see more aftermarket support for the ripmo tbh.

to be fair, the v2s is new this year. I'd love a mullet link to try....and/or a cascade link to run with a coil. I find the Dvo blows through its travel way too fast and I'm not an aggressive rider.

so far I've only seen the WRP mullet link, but also pretty sure it doesn't fit the v2s

Agree. Love lots of things about the V2S. But I too am using all the travel way more than I did with my old bike. And riding less aggressive trails these days. Might be the X2 though. Cascade said a link is in the works maybe winter latest depending on complexity.
