Hi All

Sorry for posting this bike here, but it doesn't fit anywhere...

I've found a very interesting bike in the trash bin during my summer vacations, near a somewhat popular surf destination, which seems to be a vintage Kalkhoff. It seems like the kind of bike usually used by people traveling in RV's.

Although the bike was seriously neglected, it's still recoverable. The bike is equipped with a Sachs Torpedo Duomatic rear hub with coaster brake, and from what I've found so far, it must be from late 70s to early 80s.

Another interesting aspect is that the frame isn't foldable, but instead it splits in two halves.

I would appreciate any help from someone more knowledgeable than me to identify the manufacturer, model and other stuff.

The SACHS rear hub is a thing of mechanical beauty....

I know nothing about it but it's actually kinda cool...! hope you get the info you are looking for.

I really dig some of the older stuff,, like that hub. Lots going on in there that, back in the day if you were ballsy enough to take it apart as a kid, really taught you how things worked,

nice find and good luck Careca !!
