2017 Slayer bottle cage probs

What’s up y’all, I just put a bottle cage on my 2017 rocky slayer and have been struggling to find a bottle that will work without being hit/knocked off by my suspension. I don’t think a small bottle will really help much because of the way the linkage moves?? Anyone else got this issue?
