Hey guys/girls

Any owners of a 23 SX that changed the DC to an SC fork ?.

My technical knowledge isnt great so what is the tech i need to know swapping to lets say a 170mm SC fork to keep it standard geometry.
Is it axle to crown length.?

Came from a 2011 Glory(which i absolutely loved) to a 2021 FRS which is also great .
I think i bought it more thinking i need the travel but to be honest i think it was mainly for the look of the DH bike. Tried a 2019 sx and loved it before i bought the FRS.

My thoughts were to get a 2023 SX swap the 190mm 40 to a 170mm zeb/38.

Making it 170/165 travel.

Hope all of the rambling makes sense.

You will just need to replace the lower headset cup, and bearing (and crown race to go on the new fork) to accommodate the tapered steerer tube of a SC fork.
