Riding a spark RC thinking of Genius as "fun" trail bike?

Just as the title says, Im riding a 2023 spark Rc and its a great XC bike loves to go fast but I find its not super playful when it comes to finding fun lines on the trails and such. My local shop things im crazy but considering grabbing a deal on a new Genius 910. Would mainly be used for trail riding looking for fun lines, jumps etc would need to climb reasonable well no shuttling. NO bike park am I wasting my time money on a genius and need to just rework the suspension on the Spark?
