2021 Canyon Strive And Coil Compatibly

So just recently I picked up a brand new second hand 2021 Strive for a good price, as it was a base spec I’ve decided to throw some money at it to get the bike feeling better, specifically the rear end, I’ve always ran a coil shock and favour it over the air (despite canyons intended use of air shocks due to the leverage design)

Having seen that it’s a possibility online I thought I’d treat myself to one of the latest MY23 RS S’Delux coil socks, only to find that it’s not a compatible fitment because the piggy back on the new coil is massive and will foul the inside of the down tube if the suspension is actuated.

Frustrated at this I naturally switched the hardware around and the shock and fitted it the “correct way up” piggy to the top only to find that the linkage fouls the piggy in the last 1/3 of the stroke stopping it from going any further, obviously not intended to be fitted this way but thought it would be worth a try.

Basically, as I’m in love with this shock I’m trying to find a way to make this work and I’m looking for a shock wizard to tell me I need offset hardware or to sell the shock as it’s not going to work and but an older shock.

Any help would be ace, thanks
