Hi all, ive just had an email from Canondale saying my " dave " bike has a frame defect and needs to be replaced, ive contacted my nearest canondale dealer and they have said i need to pay the labour charges to strip and then rebuild the new frame. Im thinking this is total B.S. as why should i be out of pocket for something that isnt my fault, and the problem lies with Canondale . Any thoughts/previous dealings with a recall issue would be gratefuly accepted, cheers all, Paul.

That doesn't sound right. I'd contact Cannondale directly.
