I've been wondering about the super z since the release day, and just curious if anyone has tested it here. Is it worth the extra dough over the z1?

I got one. I like it so far. Really smooth and stout. NSMB.com just posted a review of it - first review out on the internet as far as I can tell. Grip X damper is a step up from the Z1 damper.

We should have one soon. I do have the new GripX2 on my bike (paired with a Runt- best fork I've rode in a long time) and parking lot rode the GripX and you can tell just from that Fox has improved the damping.
