Evil Dropper Post Cable Routing

Im trying to route a dropper post cable through a freshly painted 2019 Evil Calling frame. I started by using a vaccum on the seat post to suck/draw an extremely strong sailing thread from the head tube hole, through the frame, and out the seat tube. Then I attached the thread to the cable housing and started to pull it through the frame. It gets to the bottom bracket area and gets stuck. Tried going in the opposite direction and it gets stuck in the same area.
Has anyone routed a cable through the frame? Is it possible? Any tips? Does the BB have to come off?
Any help is appreciated.

I've built several Evils and never had to use anything like you've described here.
I've always just fed the cable through the front port and it comes out the seat tube.

There is a somewhat tight turn where you describe but a little twisting and maneuvering the cable housing has always gotten it past.

The sailing thread might be making that situation worse.
I'd try again minus the thread pulling.
