On settings pages https://www.pinkbike.com/u/USERNAME/videosettings/ there's an option to "Turn off autoplay of videos".

When I check this it doesn't appear to have any effect.

The homepage currently has "Video: Finding Confidence After Injuries | Pitted With Amaury Pierron & Myriam Nicole" which starts playing immediately, every time I go back to the homepage - be that through a link to home or using the back button..

Any other page with a Pinkbike hosted video (i.e. not a youtube embed) also starts playing automatically. e.g. https://www.pinkbike.com/news/video-5-mens-bike-checks-from-red-bull-rampage-2024.html

This happens on both Desktop (Arc/Chrome) and mobile Safari.
