Where's best to stay in Val di Sole?

I'm planning to go to the Val di Sole WC in June and was hoping someone could provide some advice on the best place to stay in the valley to be accessible to the WC activity / pit's etc while having a few decent options for hotels, bars, restaurants etc?

I'm planning to be there Fri - Mon so will also get the chance for a ride on the 1st day of the lifts opening (Monday) so any advice on must do trails for the 1 day riding I'll get in is also welcome.
