Has anybody had any issues with RideWrap after sales?

Bought a kit from them and had it fitted from one of their approved installers on their websites only to have bubbles in every single section!!

Managed to get the installation costs refunded but RideWrap only offered me a 25% off voucher which would still leave me over £100 out of pocket!!

Now they are just ignoring my emails!!

No possible way of leaving a review and no current social media accounts that allow you to comment makes me think I'm not the only one who has had issues with them

Might be tricky getting a full refund if you bought it and supplied to the approved installer, rather than the installer itself supplying. Pretty crappy nonetheless. I wonder if you would have a larger claim against the installer than just their labour charge. For £100 prob not worth the hassle sadly.

Having had very good previous experience of Invisiframe, the only reason I went to RideWrap on the last occasion was simply that Invisiframe didn't have the pattern available. I don't know if they use the same film but I personally found Invisiframe nicer to fit if you do decide to look elsewhere.

With ppf, it is sometimes possible to release the bubble with an hypodermic needle. It does slightly compromise the protection but probably worth a go if the bubbles are big enough. In my experience some bubbles are almost inevitable as rarely the underlying paint finish is perfect. The hope is that bubbles can be released or that they are so small they are not noticed.

I fit it myself and it certainly is fiddly but quite therapeutic if you have clean space, tools, and the time to do it. If you decide to remove the film and start again, my advice is to use a small household steamer but go easy as very easy to pull frame paint off.
