I have been into bikes for my whole life. Some would say im extremely over biked but I have been building up a 2018 banshee rune (180mm/160mm) for about a year now. Z1 coil fork cr rear xt drivetrain and brakes, but what im after is help setting it all up. Im an odd size 6ft2 135lbs super skinny. But i have 0 clue about anything suspension related. Ik i have the 2nd to softest coil in my fork apparently 28% sag and im buying one of those adjustable coils for the rear. Any help would be appreciated

Aim for ~30% sag front and rear to start. Coil is definitely harder to fine tune than air suspension, but it is doable. I wouldn't stress about it too much early on, just ride it for a while and see how you feel on it. Research the damper settings on your fork + shock, and get familiar with what the adjustments do and how they affect the feel + ride of your bike. Overall though, just have fun with it, find what YOU like, not what some guy on here says you should like.

There are a lot of good articles and videos out there you should check out. Not to deflect from the details you need to set up your ride, but there is too much involved to explain it adequately here.

Check out lots of videos and articles.

Keep a log and experiment one increment on one suspension product at a time.

The settings will necessarily change as you get better at MTB or want to change your style or terrain. Hope that is helpful.
