Hello everyone. I just picked up a frame set and I need help identifying this Marzoochi Bomber DJ1. Trying to find out year and specs. I can't really find anything on this fork. Was the DJ1 produced 2002-2009? I tried inputing that number on Fox's website but no luck there. I do know it's 20x110. Thanks in advance!

I got a little feed back from someone at my local park saying it’s a 2015-2017. Did some research using those years and came across someone on PB selling this a similar for in ‘23 but with different stickers. He stated his as a 2015-2017. He stated it’s a coil with air pre-load.

What do you mean by 2018MY fork?

According to stickers it seems to be 2018 model year. The production year is stamped somewhere under the crown or at the bottom part of lowers. Basically Marzocchi DJ hadn’t changed a lot from 2010 till the moment it’d become Fox 36.
What’s the point of your research?

Thanks for the info. I’ll look into it. I want to know how much air I can put in the air pre-load chamber being that it’s a hybrid coil/air fork. I mean, the pre-load air chamber is basically just setting SAG so I think I’ll just add or remove accordingly until I get my desired number.
Also, just to get some information on it for servicing it and specs in general.

The spring is very soft in this forks, so it’s kinda hybrid of air preload and air spring. So I would advise you to choose air pressure solely on your preferences and riding conditions. From my experience with different forks that’s more comfortable to choose air pressure individually. Sometimes even rising the pressure way over manufacturer suggested limits.
Also as I’ve said, DJ forks’d hardly ever changed from about 2010 till the moment Marzocchi became Fox. So you can use any manual of that time period.
