Options for a broken 2020 Canyon Spectral

My son was riding a 2020 Canyon Spectral WMN XS bike and he broke the frame on a minor crash. Cracked right on the downtube. We got this used from a friend, and I know that Canyon doesn't warranty second hand bikes, but this seemed worth contacting about since this wasn't a major crash and it cracked so easily. They offered next to nothing, so I'm trying to figure out my options. I'm looking for used frames on PinkBike and Facebook. Another thought was to get a new frame from one of these Chinese companies... still a bit unsure about some of the reputations.

I'm looking for some ideas and also to say that beware of Canyons... they seem to brake easily so don't buy them second hand.
