I'll bite.
What's the whole story? If your frame has a material or workmanship defect then it's a different story than if your frame was damaged in some way during use.

Are you considering taking legal action against them and just want to know the odds?
Have you worked through less costly options first? I'd try a few things before hiring an attorney:
1- Have you tried taking your bike to a different Specialized retailer for a second opinion?
2- Have you looked at any of the consumer protection laws applicable in your state that can be used to leverage a remedy?
3- Have you sent a formal demand letter with receipts and warranty terms they've breached?
4- Have you reported them to the FTC, BBB or your state's AG office?

Ain’t nobody gonna do that. Maybe, if some attorney who also happens to mountain bike, and has the time outside of their parental and professional duties to research and compile enough data to build a case, then MAYBE they will sue Speciallized…

But realistically, bikes break. Every thing breaks on the bike. A dedicated rider riding regularly will have to replace EVERYTHING on the bike over a 1-3 year timeframe. It’s part of the sport. If you inhale parts and frames then congratulations, you’re a real MTBer.


And, these sports don’t need companies and ski areas developing over reaching policies to hedge against litigation either. That ruins it for everyone.
