doesnt matter but i was wondering if anyone had any bad experiences with those frames , and i am gonna put th parts of my dk on the new frame

But a new complete for 350-400 and then you have 2 bikes. A light strong one, and a backup bike with a few bucks worth of parts on it.

i would rather have one kickass bike and my friend has a gt that we use, and i want a lighter bike mine wieghs like 25-27

well, 2 things you culd change r Forks and Bars, Thats my first Priority when it comes to it

There are many good cheap completes out there that are sub 25lbs. And you need to get new cranks stat.

i already have nice parts i just need to replace my frame

Pretty much the only differnce from stock on my bike (Eastern Element) are the bars and forks (i'm not sure if the cranks are different too, I bought it second hand, I'm pretty sure they are, I'm just not sure what they are...). Both forks and bars are Federal 20/20.


Stock weight: 26.50 lbs
Current weight: ~20 lbs (without brakes, has brakes now)

Not sure if that adds up, should that acctually make that much difference? Maybe I weighed it wrong =S
