Im fed up with my street mtb due to parts breaking all the time. My riding style is sort of street influenced by trials and flatland. I was thinking, I can get a decent trials bike for about 600, whereas I can get a pretty damn good flatland bmx for the same price. Or I can go with a regular street bmx. Does the geo of a flatland really help a lot doing flatland


Which direction would you guys lean towards if you were in my shoes

(haha sorry for not ending my sentences in question marks, my computer has a virus I think and does this É)

pretty sure you cant have a trials bike and a flatland bike all in one. i'd just get a street bmx....

I wish bike technology reached that point!

Im thinking of getting a street bmx, hell of a lot cheaper and less breaking.

Is it hard to do flatland on a street bmx

a lot of guys do flatland on regular bmx's. a dedicated flatland frame just has more scuffing room and slightly different geometry.

He means trials not trails. I think... AGH!




And flatland Geo is very different fron street geo, sttep HT angle, very very short CS and TT, and I think it's a low BB maybe a high i forget. But I have seen people pull so cool street moves on flatland bikes, but for the msot parts the frames wont hold up to it.
