just buy juicy 5's. 6 piston would be an absoluite bith to align
yeh but thats money... i dont got money... how bout... 4 piston gatorbrakes.. .sorry i'm cheap... unless you know someone who's got a good deal on juicy 5's
hayes nines are reliable, cheap and powerful. They don't have the best feel but they're strong from the experiance i've had. juicy 5's cost like $200 an end retail don't they? Have a look on pricepoint or jensonusa
well i found some 05 hfx 9 with 6"rotors... for 70 bucks, i'll prolly get one for the rear and some dude on pinkbike is selling a chrome hfx 9 front 8"so that will probably be my end setup
why does everyone think mountain bikers need 6 pistons they are stupidly powerful and far to heavy. Any decent 2 piston brake will stop u fine and i find that they often have much better modulation. If you really want a powerful brake buy a hope moto v2.
well lets due the math 6 pistons means more pad that has force behind it. so wiether its a good brake or not who knows unless u try it but as foir the mx2 i think my left shoe would stop better i had bad expeiences
It's not about the number of pistons, it's about fluid displacement. If the two pistons displace more than the 6 pistons, the two will me more powerful. That is, of course, the pad is the same size.
