up side: Strong, Nice FR frame
Downside: Heavy, Old design, inefficient.
Conclusion: Don't buy it, You'd be better off with a P2 or Norco Shore hardtail series.

my friend has a 'ol katmandu and it survives everything.. its silver and grey looks nice.. think he is selling the frame for like 80-100$

if u have no money and are just starting out, go for it. otherwise, youll break it in no time. I had no money and got one, it lasted a season. just my 2 cents

the katmandu isnt that bad of a bike guys. some stuff may need replacing ie, headset, wheelset and fork as you progress
