Downside: Heavy, Old design, inefficient.
Conclusion: Don't buy it, You'd be better off with a P2 or Norco Shore hardtail series.

my friend has a 'ol katmandu and it survives everything.. its silver and grey looks nice.. think he is selling the frame for like 80-100$

the katmandu isnt that bad of a bike guys. some stuff may need replacing ie, headset, wheelset and fork as you progress
