i was wondering what the diference was between 20mm drop outs and 10mm drop outs and the axles and hubs needed. thanks

You need a 20mm hub for a 20mm dropout and a 10mm or QR 9mm hub to fit a 10mm dropout Rolleyes


20mm = stiffer.

I went threw four 10mm axles last season so I finally upgraded my fork and front wheel to 20mm.

You're forgetting that 20 mm front hubs have wider spacing (110 mm) whereas 10 mm QR has 100 mm spacing

Ofcourse everything can break, but honestly, show me a picture of a broken 20mm. Ask the guys at ur LBS, they will tell you it takes alot of shit to bust a 20mm axle.
