Hi all,

I'm new to the site, but I have friends that use pinkbike all the time. I found a bike I'm interested in and sent the owner a message, but it said I can't send anymore messages and to wait. So did my original message send? The is no sent box to confirm? How long do I have to wait and why can't I send a message if they confirmed my email? Maybe this is a sign that I shouldn't buy a used bike.

I just got this problem yesterday. I've been a member for years. There are things I want to buy and now can't message anymore.

I tried emailing Isaac Schmidt (who Pinkbike says is in charge of buy/sell), but it keeps saying my email is undeliverable. I don't know of who to contact about this.

I'm having this problem, too! Trying to send a message but after I click 'send' the general message on the next page says "Message: No TRADES! You will be suspended if dont respect Restrictions"
How can I fix this or who can I reach out to to ask for help?

Me too. I'm new to PB and have mesaged several people about items I wish to buy - this is why I joined PB - but have no response. I've messaged James Murthwaite who is a moderator for the UK, no response. I emailed Radek Burcat and received a n automated response: he doesnt work for PB or Outside anymore.
I hope the five people I messaged are not ignoring me!
I do wonder if the system is functioning correctly.

Did anyone have the "No TRADES! You will be suspended if don't respect Restrictions" issue resolved? I also just joined the forum to inquire about a particular bike listing, but keep getting that message when trying to contact the seller.

I was almost done selling bike and messages are suddenly GONE????? Why? Site says I have no messages. When I click on the link in the email they sent it says “you cannot view this message…”. What’s going on?

I’ve messaged two different sellers this week, both have responded to my initial message but then any replies I send back are sitting as unread for days.
I don’t believe active sellers would be so slow in checking their messages and I’ve seen one of them showing ’online’ since sending. Also I don’t get notifications emails when someone messages me.

I tried re-wording my message to not trigger any potential words it had flagged in the system. None of that worked. I just sent a separate message directly to the person listing the item by clicking on their profile & "Send Private Message." This seems to have gone through.

It was likely blocked for the word swap which is considered similar enough to trade.
