2012 Cove Shocker project. Starting point.
2nd gen Shocker 27.5 dropouts.

Got a new project. 2012 Shocker. Going 27.5". Needs a lot of work! Thing was clearly beat as a park bike for years.

I had a 2013 one with those dropouts from Cove. I loved that bike. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I did.

Love to see it! How is the fork? Hard to find service parts?

I love the BOS fork. For the most part all the seals and other service items are available so I haven't had any issues so far.

That's a beautiful bike, same colour as my old one.

Does that light blue shocker have specs of gold in it?

I still have my hooker its a forever bike, its got gears and a dropper but its buried in my shed

I ride it at my local dh park when my nephew comes I let him ride my dh bike ( its more confidence inspiring)

Its still one of my favourite bikes

Late response, thanks for the kind words!

No this one didn't. It was just a standard blue. I wish I hadn't sold it in retrospect. I love my Nicolai's but man there was something special about the old Shockers. Shame Cove stopped making, still remember going and riding with Chaz and all them folks way back when! Good times!
