Hasn't like every T1 had a problem with it? Like I've heard the throttle has stuck, or they've caught on fire, or some other crazy problems have happened to all of them.

Every car has teething issues, McLaren had the same thing happen to to one of it's XP F1 prototypes. This is why "most" companies do not let high profile tv shows or magazines test cars until they are ready, or very close pre-production models. Caparo was foolish, on multiple occasions by having so many high profile issues. Plato burned, JC stymied through various technical issues, suspension failling on a journalist and then the throttle being stuck open at Goodwood.
