700 for a lyrik thats been used and modded is too much. You can still get them NEW for that much.

I run a pike on my street/dj bike, and a Lyrik on my FR bike. The lyrik has better damping, but you dont need that for street at all. The lyrik is a nice fork, but Id stick with the pike for street. Works great without any of the extra stuff.

That's actually what Rock Shox lists it as.

700€ http://www.bike-discount.de/shop/k277/a4233/lyrik-u-turn-schwarz-09.html

Still less than 800 pounds. US/Canada are totally spoiled with prices anyway and EU is paying for it, so dont even try to compare our prices with them.

I have no experience with a Pike, but I do know a few friends that use them for DJ and they like it a lot. I have a Lyrik myself and I absolutly love it. But I use it more for Freeriding. Even though I think the Lyrik is one of the best all around forks right now for most syles of mtb, I'd still recomend a pike for what you wanna do with it.
