Specialized big hit weight?

Does anybody know how much their big hit weighs? Would it be too heavy to use as a trail bike as well as a freerider?

I have a 2002 Bighit Pro with Double Tracks, 7" 888RC,Saint crank and other than that it's stock. It's one of the bikes I ride the most, for a little bit of everything. I'm guess about 38 lbs for mine.

what size is it? and it depends on what big hit it is considering theirs like 7, the parts might change the weight and so will the size, i think it might say on the site under the full list of stats for each bike, ill look through my 07 catalog to see ill post if i find anything

thanks alot. I will probly be doing more all mountain type of riding then freestyle. But I also dont wanna be discouraged to do anything bigger. But I just dont want bike weight to keep me off the trails or hills.

my big hit wieghs in at 42 lbs. but it rides much lighter due to the steep head tube angle. when set @ 67.5 degree ht angle i find it handles trails amazingly well and is very agile. it is a bit of a bitch going up hills, but i'm old and could be in better shape. a young healthy guy should have no problem.

i have the older one and i race DH with it. im selling it but i think it's about 40 pounds, single crown. definatley NOT a trail bike

I have a 2006 bighit and it weighs 42pounds. I put an e type dreailleur on the front and now i can climb pretty good, considering it weighs 42 pounds.

i have a 03 bighit spec without the rear linkage mod and it wieghs closer to 50 pounds, but thats becuase i have a 3 inch wide 24' gazzi on the back, im not running tubeless, and my bike has a set of 03 monsters on it

i ride a 2006 big hit 1 which iv totaly upgraded with boxxers and stuff, i dont find the weight an issue at all! its great for dh and playin around on although it is crap for xc and anything flat/uphill
