24" rear wheel?

ok so, i have seen bikes with a 26" front tire, but a 24" rear tire. i can't understand why you would put a shorter tire on the back? please tell me why?, thanks

my norco hardtail feels way better with a 24 in the back i dont think i will ever go back to a 26 on this bike before i felt so over the bars and now i feel more comfortable

i got the same one just different color+components mine can only fit a 24 too

yes it would help out,increasing the frame angle(sitting lower,pointing upwards) your chances of going end over end are alot lower,but it all depends on what riding your planning on doing
