I recently got a 400lb spring and i weigh 145. It is a Fox DHX 5.0 Coil. on a medium nomad. Does this sound right? a 400LB spring? It feels pretty good but not sure if it is right.

I think i'll stick with the 400. I was with a 500 but the guy at the bike shop said i needed a smaller one.

measure your sag it should be 30 to 40 percent of ur total stroke but u should be right around a 300 spring

For 150 you'll want a 400. Lighter, 350 works fine

i'm havin a problem though, my friend has a 350 on his atomik and it is too soft and bottoms when you g out on the lip of the large step up on freight train. i guess its a difference torque ratio and crap than vpp suspension but still i dunno

no way. I am 145 and 5'4 and bottomed out my 350lb spring on flat ground j-hops. i just ordered a 550lb spring and i get it in a few days(but i can't use it... i broke my ankle)

ps. it is a manitou swinger 4way 8.75 eye to eye on a Jamis Diablo
