By the way, you don't even need a 800$ camera to take solid pics. I have a Kodak P880 which was $400 and my photos are at www.flickr.com/photos/cpas Some of them are in my album on here too. I'd like better but I just can't justify dropping all the cash at this point.

Yeah man I cannot convince myself that I need a thousand dollar camera!! Yours takes awesome pictures, I will definatly look into that!

O+

I use a HP Photosmart M22. It's my dads and he'll only take pictures for me. The camera is so expensive he won't let me bring it along on rides.

I finally saved up enough for my D80. I am going to pick it up within the next week or so. Before that I've been using an old Canon A1. Very nice camera, and i enjoyed learning on a film camera.

Man I was on ebay and the D80 is starting to look tempting, I can get two lenses and a fish eye, plus all the other things I would get with a the K10 except filters for cheaper then the K10d with one lens and a kit

I've only had 2 films developped on my A1 and so far they are excellent. It's a top notch camera, and as long as it's in good condition and you use it properly then they should come out perfect.

yeah, i used to rock the a1, WAAAAY back in the day, GREAT camera.

But my rig now consists of an EOS 1V , 2 power drives, (yes i still shoot film, i still cant justify digi when i can shoot 10 fps for as long as i have film....) 70-200S is, 75-300 is (for when i might beat on the 70-200 too much) 17-35, 50, and my handmade macro, 550ex, couple diff lightmeters, gitzo tripod w/ giottos ball head...

and none of the pics ive loaded on my profile here were taken with it :-)
