BIG problem with my Juicy 5s

2 weeks ago, I got a set of Juicy fives with my Chumba. I only have 2 rides on them and there are some big problems. First, my front brake has no power whatsoever. I have to grab a fistful of lever to slow down in the slightest. I can't get anything out of them. And my rear Juicy 5 locks up way to easily. I can't feather them at all, it's either all on, or all off. I had them bled after the first ride, and that did absolutly nothing. What the hell is wrong?

They came with my bike, pre-bled by Avid. I had one of my local shops do it for me.

Right after I got it out of the shop, I rode around in the parking lot and realized they were just as bad as when I left them. I got my money back...

its because you need to break them in... it takes 5-10 hours of riding

It's true. Im not sure bout yours Chris, But keep riding aroud for a few days. Then see how they feel. I know it was the same for mine.

I have the same problem with my rear juicy five. I've had it for over a week, ridden it around for about half hour every day and took it DHing. It still won't lock up completely...

I have some Juicy's on my bike and it does take a while for the pads to start working properly. Give it some time and they should start working better, but other than that I have no idea.

How long would you say?

Well for me it took about a week of riding with the brake on lightly the entire time, maybe a couple hours each day.
