Go with the Ollie, more travel, less brake-jack having a true Horst-Link linkage, lifetime frame warranty, descent spec. The Kona is a time-proven trail worthy design but I found that without the brake DOPE therapy, you get a fair amount of brake jack. Neither are any good for XC...

Have been on an Ollie 2.0 for a few months now and it has been an awesome ride. The bike seems to get more stable the faster I go, and it loves to be in the air. Devinci offers a pretty decent spec and the warranty is hard to beat. Not the lightest ride around but the only time I notice the weight is getting it into the truck.

my wife just bought the ollie2. i fell in love with the bike the miunute i saw it. its super sorted out, and it has a lifetime warranty dude. kona are rented in every resort because they are good simple bikes, but imo the ollie is way more bike. but, it also depends on where you are riding. devinci really like making good bikes, but their frantic line is missing the plot unfortunately.
