i talked to the city already, not to shoot down your idea, but, they wont do shit for us.
They told me that there was nothing in long or short term plans for building a dj park.

there is an area near the bmx track that has a forest and some fields that would be good for building and the only people that I have seen there are dog walkers, homeless guys and the occasinal city worker because there is a gas pump station thing there

Ya spencer just give up with trying to ask teh goverment.
1. We are to lazy to do it. We tried since what f*cking feb.
2. There will be no legal rights to do it, if we get hurt they will get sued under our expense.
3. The Gov. Will not build DJs, due to no free land.
4. Gov. Will not listen to us because there is to few bikers that will use it.
5. Gov. will not be allowed to make jumps bigger then 10 ft, which is "gaps", due to injuries.
6. Gov. Made the BMX track which is for all bikers around, so they see no point in building jumps for us.
7. Parents will complain that the jumps are to "big" for kids.

Give it up.... its skate park, the boring street around, or being couch potaters....
There will never be jumps in St. Albert again.

Actually there is to much liability for them to build us a jump park. Alot of hills are even having problem with the whole insurance thing and what not. thats why there are no gaps on resort hills. insurance just wont let them.

And yes in St. Albert there will be alot of complaints. its supposed to be a "high class" comunity. thats why the lacombe jumps are gone. and cuz they NEED that land to walk their dogs.

You all should try your best to get out to Rabbit Hill more, they have a good thing goin and could use the buisness.Its alot close than the mountains.

The BMX track is privatly owned. the city has nothing to do with it

first of all the trees by utah are to hard to clear out and skaters are fags at the skate park then all our jumps get recked so were screwed

the forest behind little utah is shit, we built in the in juin and its crawling with mosquitos and its backs on the some guys backyard , it will cause complaints and get torn down but we do need new jumps so yea spencer lets get a petion or something going, its worth a tryBig Grin
