So basically, I've ordered my frame and rims.
I've also got myself my fork.

For everything else, how much would it cost average,
doesn't necessarily have to be the best stuff available.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Given he won't build it for 400, Juicy fives aren't that much

more expensive in can than in us i guess. what frame and fork and wheels?

I got a budget of $843 left.
Blindside frame with revolution wheelset and boxxer team forks.
Enough to finish a nice racing bike?

You can do it, I built my vp free for 1200 with some hookups. Just look on Jensonusa Wheelworld and other internet sites.

if its new parts your looking for:
tires 60
tubes 20
bars 60
stem 50
headset 40
bb/cranks 300
pedals 60
seat/post 50
chain 20
cassete/chainrings/deralieur/guide 50 - 150
brakes 300
grips 20
all the other stuff

your looking at like 800 dollars if you want moderately good parts.

Sounds like we're still talking hubs, spokes, tires, handlebar, grips, brakes, shifter(s), stem, seatpost, seat, derailleur(s), chain, cassette, cranks, pedals, headset, cable/housing, and possibly a rear shock?

I'd guess $700+ on the cheap end and more realistically $1200 for a moderate build kit.

hmmmm, its seems like you started it off good so id finish it good. I'd just save up till you have 1500 haha. I think what your priorities will be, drivetrain, tires, crankset and brakes. sooo, 150 for tires, 350-400 drivetrain (including chainguide), 300 crankset, and 350-400 for brakes. so id save about 1500 bucks and that should do it if you don't waste your money on the fancy shiny bits.
