use water and after that leave it until it completely dry and then ride them

Get some concrete powder, and add a small amount to the top layer of the jumps.
Works, but depends on the type of dirt you have. Some kinds don't really mix with cement.

get a spade on it and just ride it over and over, good for you and also compacts it

Wet the jumps a little than soak the bottom of a tamper or flat shovel with some pam so yo shit don't stick and pack away.

besides viagra i'd use wet dirt when your building/shaping. then pack the dirt until you can roll a bike on it and it barley makes a mark. and then you can put carpet over the dirt while its still moist and let it sit for a few days. its a lot of work but its definatly worth it when you have jumps that dont fall apart half way thru the summer. oh and the last thing, if you use thin carpet you can leave it on the jumps when you ride them. and if you leave the carpet on you dont get ruts or divets even after weeks or months. good luck man!

you can rent a compactor plate which vibrates and flattens the jumps and they are about £15 to rent for a day but thats in the uk not canada

good idea but you want one with a rake thing on the end. it works great for packing dirt and you can use it to clear out new trails or whatever. i think its called a mccluad or something. be careful if you buy one tho. make sure it doesnt have a bolt or nut on the bottom

one problem about edmonton is i cant be too loud, since its illegal to build jumps, so i cant really get anything thats noisy or big and bulky

get all of your fattest friends to jump up and down on it, rework the shape and repeat. you should also let your jumps cure for about a week or so with a little water or rain.

what you need to do is the final inch of the jump is cover it in clay! if the clay is wet when compacted it dries even harder and it becomes almost like concrete!

well, bmx tracks use NaCl, yes salt! if you have pure clay and you dilute sodium chloride with water and spray it on your jumps every few hours for about a week they will not dry out for a while, they will stay moist so they are hard
