Well boys and girls this was first posted almost 5 years ago, and as expected things have changed on pink bike and some of the coding and image locations used in the original write up have since disappeared. Here is V2.0
First we will start with head shots/Avatars these are the images that appear next to forum posts or to the left side of images you have uploaded. To upload or change you avatar you must do the following: 1. Click "profile" 2. click on your avatar (or lack there of). 3. Click browse, then select the file you would like to have as your avatar. Crop your image as you feel fit and press accept.
Your pinkbike profile has a few other options that you can change. Pink bike allows you to update your: Gender, date of birth, location, email, favorite trails, bike set up, and an about me section. Once apon a time your bike set up and favorite trails where visible on your profile page however it appears that now only your "about me" is visible your about me is a short section about you. Mine is about how serious I really am... to change this do the following: 1. Click on "profile" 2. click "edit profile" 3. Make the desired changes and then press "Save" on the bottom.
Pinkbike allows you to post two types of photo's 1. PB hosted pictures and non-PB hosted images. To post a image hosted on PB follow these instructions: 1. Copy the PB image number (seen in bold below) from the URL https://www.pinkbike.com/photo/4641902/ 2. press the PB image button
or PB images button
The PB images button allows you to enter multiple images ar once opposed to just a single. 3. post me image number in the pop up window then press okay. If posting multiple image seperate PB image numbers by a comma ex: 0000001, 0000002, 0000003 the code will appear like this for the above image: [PI=4641902NOPE size=l0 align=c][/PI]
Note: the "NOPE" is used to make code visable. PI= Image number Size= Size (s,m,l) Align: Alignment (left =L, Right = R, C=Center) You can change the code using the bove pre-fixes to make the image sit how and where you would like.
