My friend told me I should start to wear a leatt brace for dh I would like to know what the use of it and what will be the price range I would be in and what compagnies make some.

neck brace. it will reduce the risk of a neck injury. it limits your movement slightly, and it takes some getting used to. it also takes time to set it up just the way you want it, and it is pretty pricey.

i wouldn't get it unless you are super gnar, or have had previous neck injuries.

well i fall pretty often and i got a fall my head was in a funny position and my neck hurted like hell after thats what gived me a thought to buy one.

what will be the cheapest i could get??

they tend to be in the like $500 and up price range. Motocross stores keep them in stock.

u can get one for $300, not as good as the $500 one tho....check out there website they list wat each model is supposed to be used for

Ok, I wear my leatt brace in motocross, i had my concussion with it on and the paramedics wanted to cut it off, but my dad showed them how it clipped off both sides, EVS makes a cheaper version of the brace but it comes off at the front, so they would cut it off, i got my brace for about 400$ and it arrived the next day in the mail, i think you should get one cause its like a helmet, you buy a more expensive full face to save your face right? so why not buy a helmet for your neck, i can be alot less money than getting cared for if you were paralized right? my 2 cents

leatt braces are amazing, my friend had one on while riding his dirt bike, he crashed and if he wasnt wearing it he would have died
