A big yaa hoo was made about too many images of half naked girls on PB. Basically what was covered was the fact that yeah atractive women ride, and when it's hot they wear less. Some female riders got offended at the comments left on thier "i'm so cute" pic's, yet didn't manage to realise that they could either disable the comments or just be a bit more reserved in the first place. Also the "dumb internet pics" category has some of the funniest stuff and the most offensive stuff on the site hence alot of people want it removed. Now the diference between ok and wrong for PB...

A down Syndrome kid trying to catch a ball with a "fail" quote = wrong.

April Lawyer hanging in her armour showing bra and midrift = OK.

Members girlfriend in early teens more than half naked over a bike = wrong.

The members themselves need to take responsability for thier own post's and what they view. Pinkbike is not for viewing while you are at school, it's not a educational site. If you are a female member and you have posted a pic of yourself looking all "i'm so inocent" don't be suprised to get smutty comments, deal with it instead of blaming the site. If you have kids and you don't want them looking at pic's of semi nude models straddling bikes set-up parental control. If you don't want to see something that will ofend you, don't look for it! The thumbnails are there for a reason. Content control on a PB is non existant as it was created with categories like "dumb internet pics", just remove it if it's what the majority wants.
Pinkbike is alot more than a MTB forum, it's a huge networking site for bikers and people need to take responsability for what they choose to see on this site..

marzocchi use underdressed model's but it is done in a tastefull manner,i have seen porn pic's on here but were deleted not long after.

showing a cleverage aint all that bad as the offending part's if you will are still covered.

but in a way it's also the women on pinkbike that maybe feel the pressure more.

i think the chicks are ok if they are bike related...eg.marzocchi girls.

i was just about to post something along them line's.

i don't think it's gonna matter what pic of a girl is posted,they are gonna get smutty remark's regardless of what there wearing or doing.

Agreed, but they need to be aware of that before they post pics, or use common sense and disable comments. As for Manufacturing ads, I don't see the problem..

But that's what I recon half the problem is, these girls must have loads of guys hitting on them in forums, pic comments as there has never been such a huge female rider base.
